The pipette calibration facility is purpose designed:

• anti-vibration table
• multiple balances
• traceable masses
• monitored temperature, barometric pressure and humidity

Water density must be corrected for the temperature of the room given that 1 millilitre of pure water has a mass of one gram at 4 degC.

NATA Certification

The Laboratory Group has NATA certification for their pipette and balance calibration facility with National Measurement Institute, NMI, certified masses (100ug to 2kg).
