The R&D group operates within the Flinders Medical Centre, and the Flinders University of South Australia. The existence of a hospital, a School of Computer Science, Engineering, and Mathematics, and a School of Medicine on the same campus has nurtured a dynamic biomedical engineering environment for the research, development, testing and application of new biomedical devices, services and programs. The R&D group has amassed a valuable pool of technical and engineering knowledge as it applies to the medical and biological sciences with over 25 years experience in the creation of new devices.
