Short courses can be developed for organisations and companies. By request, topics are individually structured to meet the needs of the company or organisation and can be on biomedical technology, laboratory equipment maintenance and calilbration (such as those examples listed below), on aspects of biomedical engineering such as management, life sciences and occupational safety or other issues relating to the establishment or operation of a biomedical engineering facility. They can be run at the client's workplace or at Flinders Biomedicl Engineering.

Laboratory Skills
A short course was developed and provided to Torrens Valley TAFE College as a component of Certificate III - Laboratory Skills. This course (with 30 hours contact time) trained 15 students in calibrating laboratory test equipment and assisting with its maintenance.
