Flinders University, FBE and collaborators provided a four week overview of Hospital Equipment Management and specialist medical imaging training to a group of six staff from Hong Kong Electro-Mechanical Services Division in Nov/Dec 2002.
Training was provided by collaborating facilites in Adelaide, theory by radiation physicists, and hands on training at various Adelaide Radiology and Biomedical Engineering Departments and the Department of Health Radiation Branch.
Written examinations, practical assessments and oral presentations were included in the training which was certified by ECRI.
